to nibble

food at picca is tapas style and meant to be shared. we ordered a lot (what's new) and finished them (what's new)

:)

chicken. poor animal. on the menu in every culture

shots with uni and other stuff. the menu was really long and unfortunately the names of the dishes (nor ingredients) did not register with me

fish and mashed sweet potato

quail's egg, potatoes with cheese, and the most delicious tomatoes with cheese

scallop

Causa Sushi where Chef Zarate replaced traditional sushi rice with mashed potatoes. we had spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and unagi

beef
halibut and calamari

cheese calzone, with an 'Indian' spiced taste

one of the specials of the day - chorizo on open sandwich

black cod with sweet potato chips - very good

churros - with caramel, raspberry, and chocolate sauce

Still jet-lagged, we woke up at 3.30pm and had our first meal of the day at 6pm, out on the patio at Thomas Keller's Bar Bouchon on 225 North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills

this was pre-dinner at 8.30pm, so we had drinks and a very light meal to fill the tummy before heading to Rodeo Drive for a little shopping.
