Red Medicine

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

Arrived in LA at 8+pm after a 12 hour flight from Hong Kong. Our first meal in LA was at this amazing restaurant+bar called Red Medicine. It was close to 11pm and we were famished

Red Medicine 8400 Wilshire Boulevard Beverly Hills, CA 90211 (323) 651-5500

brussel sprouts, bacon and shrimp chips. I hate bs but I love this dish, speaks for itself.

chicken dumplings, wrapped with lettuce but a selection of sauces and condiments. we had 2 orders :)

what's a 'vietnamese' restaurant without spring rolls.
honestly they were too pretty to be eaten. helps that the place is SO dark. we need a torch (and my reading glasses) to read the menu. These pictures were taken with ISO1600

foie gras. yes totally unrecognizable

one of my favorites - corn, egg...

scallops

rabbit loin... on the house
girls were rather squeamish about the dish and we didn't ordered it, but since it was from the restaurant, e and I finished it :)
